These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Fort Collins Mobile Storage, Inc. (“FCMS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website at fortcollinsmobilestorage.com and any services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use our website or services.
Services Overview
Fort Collins Mobile Storage provides the following services:
- Storage container rentals (monthly terms)
- Shipping container sales (new and used)
- Mobile office rentals and sales
- Semi-trailer rentals
- On-site storage at our Fort Collins facility
- Container delivery and pickup across Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska
All services are subject to availability. Pricing, inventory, and delivery timelines may vary.
Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided by FCMS are estimates based on current inventory, your location, and the services you request. Quotes are not binding until confirmed in a written agreement, invoice, or purchase order.
Pricing may change without notice based on market conditions, inventory availability, or delivery logistics. We will confirm final pricing before processing any transaction.
Rental Terms
The following terms apply to all container and trailer rentals.
Minimum rental period. All rentals require a one-month minimum commitment.
Billing cycle. Rental billing runs on a monthly cycle. The first month is prorated from your delivery date. Subsequent months are billed at the full monthly rate.
Payment. Rental payments are due at the beginning of each billing period. Accepted payment methods are confirmed at the time of your rental agreement.
Late payments. Overdue accounts may be subject to late fees as specified in your rental agreement. Continued non-payment may result in pickup of the rental unit.
Condition of rental units. FCMS delivers rental units in clean, functional condition. You are responsible for maintaining the unit in reasonable condition during your rental period. Normal wear is expected. Damage beyond normal wear may result in repair charges.
Return and pickup. Contact FCMS to schedule pickup when your rental period ends. We will retrieve the unit from your location at a mutually agreed time. The rental continues to bill until the unit is picked up.
Relocation. You may request to relocate a rental unit during your rental period. Relocation is subject to availability and additional delivery fees.
Sales Terms
The following terms apply to all container and mobile office purchases.
Payment. Full payment is required before or at the time of delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods are confirmed at the time of purchase.
Condition. Containers are sold as described at the time of purchase. Descriptions include condition grade (new, one-trip, used, wind and water tight). You are encouraged to inspect containers on our lot before purchase when possible.
Title transfer. Title to purchased containers transfers to the buyer upon receipt of full payment.
No returns. All sales are final unless otherwise stated in a written agreement. Inspect your container at delivery. Report any concerns to FCMS within 48 hours of delivery.
Pre-orders. Some products, including mobile offices, may be available for pre-order only. Pre-order availability, pricing, and delivery timelines are estimates. FCMS will confirm final details before processing your order.
Delivery and Site Requirements
FCMS delivers containers using our own roll-back and tilt-bed trucks. The following requirements apply to all deliveries.
Site access. You must provide a clear, truck-accessible path to the placement area. Standard clearance is 70 feet for 20ft containers and 100 feet for 40ft containers. Overhead clearance of 14 feet is required.
Level surface. Containers must be placed on a level, stable surface that supports the unit’s weight. Weight ranges from approximately 2,500 lbs for a 10ft container to 10,000 lbs for a 40ft combo unit.
Your responsibility. You are responsible for confirming that your site meets access and surface requirements before delivery. If our driver cannot safely place the container due to site conditions, a redelivery fee may apply.
Permits. You are responsible for obtaining any permits required by your local jurisdiction for container placement. FCMS does not provide permit services.
Use of Containers
Containers rented or purchased from FCMS are intended for lawful storage, office, and commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Use any container for any unlawful purpose
- Store hazardous materials, explosives, or illegal substances
- Make structural modifications to rental units without written approval from FCMS
- Sublease or transfer a rental container to a third party without written approval
- Exceed the container’s rated load capacity
FCMS reserves the right to retrieve any rental unit used in violation of these terms.
Limitation of Liability
FCMS provides containers and services on an “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. We make no warranties beyond those explicitly stated in a written agreement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FCMS is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of property stored in a container due to theft, weather, fire, or other causes
- Damage to your site or property during delivery or pickup, except where caused by gross negligence on our part
- Delays in delivery due to weather, road conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service involved.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold FCMS harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees). This covers claims from your use of our containers, your violation of these Terms, or any violation of applicable law.

Accuracy. We strive to keep website content accurate and current. Product descriptions, pricing, and availability shown on the website are subject to change without notice. Contact us to confirm current details.
Intellectual property. All content on the FCMS website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Fort Collins Mobile Storage, Inc. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
